Health Plan Enrollment Assistance

Florida Medicaid

Medicaid provides medical coverage to low-income individuals and families. Medicaid services in Florida are administered by the Agency for Health Care Administration. Medicaid eligibility in Florida is determined either by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) or the Social Security Administration (for SSI recipients).

Affordable Care Act Marketplace

The Health Insurance Marketplace offers a variety of health plans, including dental plans, available under the Affordable Care Act. Your household size and income will help determine your eligibility and your monthly premium for health insurance. The Health Insurance Marketplaces (Marketplaces) can tell you if you qualify for low- or no-cost coverage available through Florida’s Medicaid program. All private health insurance plans offered in the Marketplaces provide the same essential benefits.

The Covering Florida Navigators can help you enroll in Marketplaces coverage. The Navigators are available throughout Florida for appointments to assist you in enrolling and to answer any questions you may have.
